Hi, my name is Gerrik Wong! I am currently a PhD student at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Nico Spronk, who also supervised my master's which was completed in August 2023.

My main mathematical interests lie in abstract harmonic analysis. My current research direction is set in the analysis of totally disconnected locally compact groups, and how total disconnectedness of the group is reflected in its algebras such as its group algebra or reduced group C*-algebra.
